About Healio
Healio is a map‑first health OS for the Philippines connecting patients, providers, clinics, RHUs, and communities through one portable, FHIR‑ready personal health record plus transparent doctor discovery and booking.
Healthcare Should Work Together
In the Philippines, healthcare is still fragmented. Patients wait hours in crowded clinics, only to learn the doctor hasn’t arrived. Families hand-carry lab results and x-rays from one hospital to another, retelling the same stories and repeating the same tests. Records remain locked in facilities instead of with patients. Time is lost. Clarity is lost. Sometimes, life is lost.

Clinics
Faster, clearer visits
I’m building Healio so care becomes closer, clearer, and finally connected. A map to find doctors, clinics, pharmacies, and even clinical trials. A personal health record you truly own, usable at a barangay health center, a private specialist’s clinic, or even abroad if life takes you there.
The vision is simple: one continuous record that follows you, instead of fragmented episodes scattered across hospitals. Not another telehealth marketplace. Not another closed EMR silo. A neutral health OS layer aligned with the Universal Health Care law, designed to work at the grassroots and scale nationwide.
Progress will be incremental. But every avoided duplicate test, every consult that starts on time, every family that no longer lugs paper folders, every patient who no longer repeats their medical history is already a quiet win.
What This Unlocks
One personal record
Continuity that follows you instead of beginning again each visit.
FHIR-native interoperability
Standards-based exchange for clinics, labs, and future integrations.
Geography-aware access
Context for barangays, RHUs, private networks, and remote families.
Patient-centered design
Clarity, transparency, less repetition, more human interaction.
I’m building Healio with the belief that small, connected steps matter more than big overhauls. The Philippines deserves an interoperable health system that respects people and context. If this resonates, your feedback will help guide what we build next.

Infrastructure, not another app
Healio is underlying rails so care isn’t stuck in yet another walled garden.
Feature | Typical Telehealth App | Directory Sites | Healio Health OS |
---|---|---|---|
Finding care | Generic city lists | Basic filters only | Live map + specialties + indicative fees + availability |
Medical history | Locked inside vendor | None | Patient-owned record + granular consent |
Standards | Closed silo | N/A | FHIR R4 base; PHIE/UHC alignment path |
Clinic operations | Video-first bias | None | Multi-branch mgmt + patient roster + booking path |
PH realities | Single ID assumption | N/A | Layered IDs + households + proxy + offline |
Built so patients, providers, and public health benefit together — not in isolation.
Built on Four Core Principles
These principles keep the build honest: solve fragmentation, avoid vendor lock‑in, respect context, and give patients continuity.
Place‑first access
Care starts with geography in PH. We surface what’s actually reachable, not abstract directories.
Portable health records
A patient shouldn’t restart their story. A record that moves safely, with consent, across time and providers.
Built for every Filipino
From barangay centers to private hospitals — layered IDs, proxy caregivers, and offline resilience.
Interoperable by design
FHIR + PHIE direction so we don’t bake in future bottlenecks. Data should flow when care needs it.
The Philippine Health OS Layer
Not another vertical app—an underlying shared layer. One geospatial + clinical context graph, one portable record spine, one consent + identity core, and an integration bus enabling safe data movement.
Map Graph
Geospatial + service graph of providers, facilities, programs
Portable Record Spine
FHIR-aligned data layer with consent + audit trail
Identity & Consent Core
Layered IDs, proxy, granular sharing, revocation
Integration Bus
Interchange for labs, referrals, stock, future PHIE hooks
